Characteristics of Solder Flux or Copper Brazing Powder:
It is a kind of white powdered copper gas welding flux with a melting point of about 650℃, which can effectively dissolve copper oxide and cuprous oxide. During welding, it can be covered on the welding surface as a liquid slag to prevent from metal oxidation.
Purpose of Solder Flux or Copper Brazing Powder:
Used as a flux during gas welding or brazing operations of copper and brass alloys.
Welding operation Notes of Solder Flux or Copper Brazing Powder:
Mix the solder powder with water to make a paste and apply it to the weld joint of the workpiece, or heat the brazing material first and then stick the solder powder to it. The weld gap should not be too large, generally 0.01-0.05MM. When flame brazing, it is usually advisable to use neutral welding. When operating, try to avoid direct heating of the brazing material and brazing flux by the flame.
